The media is so sensational it makes me wretch. Ever time the CNN live broadcast cuts back to the studio, we are reminded by very concerned-looking, angsty anchors that this was Virginia Tech was THE WORST SCHOOL SHOOTING IN HISTORY.



Can you say this as many times as the CNN anchors in regular conversation without feeling ridiculous?



Does it scare you, make you wish the government would come and save you from imminent peril?The CNN challenge: How many times can you say "worst school shooting in history"?
How many children were killed when those muslims took over that school in Beslan?



Oh. Here is the answer:

On the third day of the standoff, gunfire broke out between the hostage-takers and Russian security forces. 344 civilians were killed,[2] including 186 children,[3] and hundreds more were wounded. Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev took responsibility for the hostage taking, which was led by his Ingush deputy Magomet Yevloyev.



Guess its not the worst school shooting in history. PC CNN gives muslims a free pass again.

Actually, I'm disturbed that you are making light of the situation. The media is only trying to report what is going on, and its a shame that your focus is on their choice of words.



Here's your challenge: what can you do to help the families who just lost loved ones?
There are 4 different news stations saying 4 different stories. CNN sucks - they are too self absorbed, buying any cell phone footage they can get their hands on. I don't even bother with it. Best to go on your local news or internet feed and read the truth.
I was able to say it 20 times in 1 minute! I wonder if CNN will hire me?
