i don't know anyone who is homeless. it's a shame we have come to this point in this country. so sad, just sad.

Yes, a close call for one family.

Another family with 3 children had to move in with the young woman's parents, both are looking for jobs...

I try to help as much as possible for those I can.

No, I don't. So far. Okay, I have a few questions of my own. Where the hell are her three grown children? They cannot give her shelter, etc.



I don't mean to sound harsh, but why stay in that area if you cannot afford it? Sounds like she was living in a very high rent district in the first place. She is able to work though $8.00 an hour is very little to live on. If if she got out of the area, I'm sure she could find something more conducive to her paycheck. I know a single mom who is making $8.55 an hour and pays her rent, etc. This, however, is in Buffalo and not in a bad neighborhood either. It's not like my friend is trying to live in Amherst or someplace like that on her paycheck.



But again, where the hell are her kids? Sounds like her dogs are better friends and companions than her kids.
