Does CNN (and other news channels) really broadcast live?

Or is there a 5 or 10 second purposeful delay? ThanksDoes CNN (and other news channels) really broadcast live?
No there is a delay with CNN. There was a moment where there was not a delay which was on CNN on New Year's eve. This one time when there was no delay Kathy Griffin said something inappropriate with Anderson Cooper. Also the Super Bowl was presented live before but after the Janet Jackson incident that changed. Normally all television has a 5-10 second delay. There is only 1 regular show which has no delay at all. There is only 1 live television show which is Saturday Night Live. They fight very hard with the FCC to be the only live show. It helps that it is on at 11:30 PM once a week.

Any other questions please E-mail me. I hope this helps!Does CNN (and other news channels) really broadcast live?
most broadcast by TV stations, which are live are with a 5-10 seconds delay. this is due to the fact that at times they need to censor certain stuff such as abusive language etc. so CNN is not an exeption in this case
