Is it true that back during the Gore/Bush election the CNN reporters cried on air?

Upon realizing that Gore had lost?

Is it true they first called the election for Gore and then realized they made a mistake, and that some of the female newscasters were so upset that their handpicked guy lost they started crying on air?

Imagine what will happen when Obama loses. We will see the newscasters on CNN hanging themselves live on air.Is it true that back during the Gore/Bush election the CNN reporters cried on air?
I don't know, but honestly it wouldn't surprise me. That would be hilarious
Nope...not at all...I hope that clears it up for you.Is it true that back during the Gore/Bush election the CNN reporters cried on air?
the cnn reporters did not cry on the air upon

That election farce was a crying shame but I never heard that they did cry. The American people voted for Gore and we would all have been much better off if he had become president.
Well I didn't actually see them cry, but wadded up kleenex all over their desks and those red swollen eyes that makeup couldn't conceal, sort of gave it away. Not caused by tears of joy, btw.
It seems as though they've been crying ever since....until this election cycle! Now there will be CHANGE to give us HOPE. To CHANGE all the wrong, and give us HOPE about our future.

There could once again be positive news in America that actually makes it on-air at CNN. As soon as they can get OBAMA elected they will break into their programming and announce: "This just in.....the sky is no longer falling."

They will show CNN reporters burning Rush Limbaugh in effigy and lighting Fox News banners on fire in the streets!
The questioner is just making stuff up to mess with people. If CNN reporters had actually cried on air, you better believe it would be all over YouTube. And while CNN and all five major networks (Including Fox, by the way) originally called Florida for Gore, it wasn't until mid-December that the election was called for Bush. So there's no way the reporters could have spontaneously cried on November 7th since the Supreme Court didn't make the decision for another 5 weeks.
You've got to learn to put the "sarcasm" font on your questions when you write something like that.

Jeff Greenfield, then of CNN, wrote a fine book about the 2000 election. He said he was a little upset that he was going to miss his plane to New York that night, because it was such a cliff-hanger election.
i love your premise. like three dog night said, "celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music"!!! what i'd like to see them do is eat schitt an die.
