I was watching his videos online and my Mother called to tell me that she heard that he was just rushed to the hospital and that joe said he wasn't doing well. i didn't turn on the tv i watched everything unfold on cnn live right at the hospital...step by step...I went crazy...screaming and crying...hysterical! i'm so glad it was that way rather than for me to have been out in public...i heard everything was so chaotic..cell phones were ringing and texts were going off! I was at the HArd Rock Cafe in Fiji on a trip and I got a call saying that Michael Jackson was dead. Then ten minutes later While looking at the Triller tour jacket in a case at the cafe the news came on and announced he was dead. I believed it was real that time and the whole place started freaking out. Saddest day ever.
I was playing sims 3 with my best friend. (we are both HUGE fans) My mom shouts in horror, Michael Jackson just got rushed into the hospital! I run down the stairs, and halfway down my mom yells again, THEY ARE SAYING THAT HE IS DEAD HANNAH, THEY ARE SAYING THAT HE IS DEAD!! I was saying NO NO NO NO NO. and the TV says that CNN has not confirmed it and i pray for him. Minutes later, CNN confirms. I text everyone in my phone, REST IN PEACE SWEET KING, WE LOVE YOU.
The rest of the day we watch the MJ greatest hits dvd and cry and laugh and remember and celebrate and mourn. sad day...

I went online to check my email on Yahoo! and saw the a picture of Michael Jackson with the headline Dead at 50 on the Yahoo! page. I instantly felt bad for Farrah Fawcett, who had only died hours earlier, because she lost her courageous battle with cancer and didn't get nearly enough recognition for fighting as long as she did. It's a shame. And what sucks even more is that will be hearing about Michael Jackson for the rest of the year probably.How did you first hear about Michael Jackson dying?
I was out buying a new pair of tennis shoes, and I heard it over the radio.
I freaked out... I just froze and stood there. I didn't know what to do.
I 'dedicated' my shoes that I bought to Michael and his passing.
(wow, that sounds dumb, but it's the one thing I bought on the day he died and I thought it would be nice to dedicate something to him).
Right away like 5 of my friends texted me saying "Did you hear the news? I'm so sorry! That really sucks!", and a lot of people called me.
I've been known as the 'Michael Jackson freak' for a looong time.
I was actually at a yearbook workshop and one of the girls who didn't go on the trip texted one of my friends telling her that he died. Well, i texted my dad to see if it was true or not. And he hadn't of heard it yet, anyways. As we were in our seminar. I look on my teacher's computer next to me while trying to text my dad. And he confirmed it to me that he had died. On my teacher's computer, it was breaking news. I was in complete shock for like a week after his death.
I was on facebook and someone said omg rip michael jackson, i was like what the f*ck, NOOOOOOOOOOOO? and then my head started spinning i started crying then it said he was in a coma i switched on the news and it said breaking news michael jackson dead st 50... and it had been confirmed... i screamed and cried and couldnt speak at all

i was actually on his official fansite, when my aunt told me that he was in the hospital. i immediatley ran to my room and turned on the news. then i waited and waited....and then...they announced he died....i literally flew off my bad screaming and crying. i grabbed my mj teddy bear and cuddled with it on my bed and continued to cry for the rest of the day til i fell asleep. and now i cry everyday....
me %26amp; my best friend went to the beach and her dad picked us up and he told us that Michael Jackson was in the hosptial because of a stroke, i didn't majorly freak, because i though he would be ok, but when they dropped me off at home, my mom told me he died, i was really sad :(

I saw it on CNN and then a friend from Cali called me. I felt like I had lost a best friend. I couldn't believe it was happening. It was like it was happening in slow motion. It was moments..it was days of sadness.

I will always remember that shocking and terrible moment. I was just about to eat dinner, and my grandparents had the news on, all of the sudden everybody got up and surrounded the tv, while i was in the kitchen. Then i heard my grandma say oh my gosh he is dead! So i ran into the living room and saw his face on the tv and that terrible video of him being taken to the hospital in the ambulance i was just in shock. I couldn't believe it, i just thought about it soooo much. At the time, i was not a fan. But since i was thinking about him so much, i started to read, and learn about him, then i came to realize how much i really love him, and what we have just lost. That is by far the worst moment in my life that i can think of.
