Can you believe CNN ended a report on suicide of a fashion celeb saying he "lived and died on his own terms"?

I refer to the segment on CNN about the suicide of fashion designer Alexander McQueen, a controversial designer who dressed Lady Ga Ga among other stars. Can you believe CNN ended a report on suicide of a fashion celeb saying he "lived and died on his own terms"?
He did live and die on his own terms...

Sometimes your own Death is the only thing you can control.

What business is it of yours if the man didn't want to live anymore?

You and I have no idea what was going through his head. He may have made a lucid decision to remove himself from the mortal coil.

Now, if he were mentally ill and didn't seek treatment, that is Society's Fault because it is so hard to get proper medical treatment for mental disorders and those that admit to them tend to be stigmatized for having them...

He should have gotten help for his mental illness if he was depressed...

But depression isn't the only reason for suicide and what he did is no ones business but his own.

Theists spend so much time screaming about stopping Abortion because it is "Killing a Human" yet what have they done to help those suffering from mental illness? NOTHING.

1 in 5 people with depression die at their own hands...

THIRTY THOUSAND PEOPLE A YEAR take their own lives in the US alone... Two million a year world wide...

Where are the protesters helping to stop the 20% risk of death associated with Depression?
Many years ago, a boyfriend committed suicide days after we broke up.

How incredibly self-centered it was. It was horrible to call his parents and tell them "Vince shot himself." Of course, they didn't believe me at first.

Vince died on his own terms. And he "showed" us, didn't he? Prick.

Wow. I must still have a resentment. LOLCan you believe CNN ended a report on suicide of a fashion celeb saying he "lived and died on his own terms"?
I used to think suicide was a noble and courageous act, until I started working with suicidal patients. They are anything but noble and courageous. Of course by definition they are the suicide attempters that failed. Can you believe CNN ended a report on suicide of a fashion celeb saying he "lived and died on his own terms"?
While it seems a bit cold, it also appears to be the truth.

I'm sorry he chose suicide. Some of his designs were stunning, to say the least.
It's horrible. I hate when these elitist "news" organizations say things that are true. Real Americans don't believe things that are true!
Suicide by definition is dying on one's own terms.
well if he designed for lady gaga i can see why he offed himself.
That seems to be a fairly accurate description of someone who commits suicide to me. How would you describe what he did?
Wait, Lady Gaga didn't do her fashions herself? She had to pay someone to have bad taste?
Apparently, he did die on his own terms.
The horror!
Well, didn't he?
how else can you live and die?
