Someone expressed the opinion to me that CNN was not liberal! Does anyone else actually believe that?

I don't get CNN, or any other cable or satellite network on my home TV. Cable is not an option and Dish Network and it's compeitors charge more than their value to me would be, since I have much more interesting things to do and already receive seven broadcast channels. But, I've seen CNN and other cable offerings in a few motels and get CNN News on at least one or two radio stations. I also hear FOX, SRN, ABC, and USA Radio news on various AM and FM stations. From what I've seen and heard, all national network TV and many radio news broadcasts, except for FOX, SRN, and USA Radio news tend to have a liberal (usually anti-American and anti-Christian) bias. The C ommunist N ews N etwork seems to live up to that moniker, except from late 1992 - early 2001, C linton N ews N etwork seemed more appropriate. What are your opinions?Someone expressed the opinion to me that CNN was not liberal! Does anyone else actually believe that?
Most all media today is liberal......leftist........anti-Christi鈥?fair play. This includes CNN and all the major networks such as CBS, NBC and ABC. I think you find much more conservative and fair reporting on Fox News. The liberal media do a 'wonderful' (pun intended) job of brainwashing folks to their way of thinking. SAD, but true. Americans would do well to listen to Fox News more often, and conservative radio......in this way they would get the OTHER SIDE of the news. It is dangerous to listen to one side only.
Communist News Network.

But seriously the network itself isn't liberal. Look at Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck. Some of their reporters and writers (Probably a majority of them) are very liberal and that is why alot of stories come across with a slant.

But then again, what was that last report that 70% of all people in newsrooms are liberal and the statistic is the same for Fox News. Hard to talk about a story when you don't take a step outside of your personal lens and look at it from a different point of view instead of puting your beleifs into the stories.Someone expressed the opinion to me that CNN was not liberal! I get the International version of CNN and my opinion is that it has a heavily corporate-driven agenda - which is to say a corporate-conservative viewpoint.

Sure, every once in a while there is a p.o.v. that could be called "liberal" but this, I take to be their attempt to retain a certain viewer "profile" - because those reports seem a bit out of place to the normal programming directions.

They typically have some heavy emotionally-laden reports that are just too personal, too "touchy-feely", to be called ligitimate news. Some might call this liberal, but to me, it's something of another political definition... It's a psychological trick, a demographic requirement that fulfills some type of viewer calculus for their programming demands - and the report simply will make no difference in the long run as far as changing policy decisions.Someone expressed the opinion to me that CNN was not liberal! These bias thing is usually bit exaggerated although they do exist up to some extend. And lot of these 24 hr news channels have popped up. It's not easy to fill that 24 hrs, so lot of opinionated shows have popped up as well to compete for ratings. They're always looking for some loyal viewers to generate ad revenue. It could be certain groups like age 18~35, someone who like cheeseburgers, OR someone who have liberal/conservative views. Whatever it takes to earn loyal following that can generate steady cash flow to that TV station.
you've been watching too much fox noise
i thought cnn was becoming apolitical. all i ever see on there is live car chases and celebrity s***. i'm pretty sure the two minutes a day of actual news is pretty liberal.
