What did you think of the CNN "live tracking poll"?

People are very suspetable to what they perceive to be popular oppinion. And here is CNN telling you how you should react with every word the candidates say. It sickened me. What did you think of the CNN "live tracking poll"?
It's kinda dumb because that meter is not saying much, hell people don't even know what the hell it is when they see it. I say it does have influence if you like to jump on bandwagons and all but it find it too odd. I like Obama and would vote for him reardless of that live pulse thingie. I think it throws people off if anything.

Too many gimmicks. No one cares about that stuff. They like that at CNN though. I guess it gives someone a job. In that case I guess its ok. I just ignore it. What did you think of the CNN "live tracking poll"?
I don't know if they explained it at the beginning or something but I was just wondering what exactly the lines represented? Like How were they continuous? What was the audience doing to be constantly giving their opinion
